E.P.I. 385

E.P.I. 385 has been conceived for the knotless joining of twisted yarns.It is particularly suitable for the joining of tyre cord or other industrial and technical yarns where only the highest degree of joint perfection is acceptable.

The cord is first detwisted, then spliced on each ply individually and finally, the cord is re-twisted to its original state, without alteration of its characteristics or yarn diameter in the spliced area. It is particularly conceived for the splicing of tyre cord or other industrial and technical yarns. Thanks to the separate splicing of the individual plies, E.P.I. 385 is the only equipment able to guarantee the highest splice strength performances, required for the tyre cord fabric manufacturing.

Maintenance of the unit is minimal and its operations do not require particularly qualified staff.
