Splicers for other textile applications
In addition to the application on automatic winding machines, splicers can be installed on many other machine types and used at many other production steps, like assembling, twisting, reeling, hank-to-cone winding, sewing threads winding, soft and hard rewinding in yarn dyeing, circular and flat knitting, warping, etc. The target is the production of 100% knot-free yarns.
For machines with a rectilinear design, installation can be done thanks to the ATS systems; for other applications, splicers can be handheld or set up on trolleys.
The selection of the most suitable splicer for each specific situation must be done in accordance with the yarn features (fiber composition and count range) and the machine or application.
