HOT JOINTAIR 4983B

The hand-operated HOT JOINTAIR 4983B is designed for operation on the A.T.S., an exclusive system that not only supports the splicer but also provides the air supply and enables the operator to move the unit to any desired position along the machine.

It is endowed with a special heating element that heats the head of the splicer, thus the heated joining blast enables the improvement of the obtained results on some specific yarns, with count between Nm 6 and 90, such as:

• woolen single and plied coarse-count yarns;
• worsted single and plied yarns (heat-set, after twisting);
• spun silk and difficult synthetic yarns (OE Viscose and Polyester, etc.);
• high twisted-crêpe worsted yarns;
• Siro worsted (elastic or regular type) yarns;
• cashmere single and plied yarns.
