HEAD AND FACE GEAR
The advanced Thermal Head and Face Gear Manikin system was developed to provide accurate test measurements for all types of protective helmets, goggles, headwear, VR gear, masks, headphones, and ear muffs.
Standard 9-zone segmentation is based on the isolation of head regions affected by clothing, respirators, protective eyewear or ear wear, and those head areas which have significantly different heat loss characteristics.
HAND
Thermetrics’ Thermal Hand Test System was developed to provide high-resolution data of heat loss.
It is capable of quantifying the effects of glove design, insulation, and ventilation with high precision and repeatability. Glove performance and properties can be determined without the variation inherent in human test subjects.
All Hand systems are complete, ready-to-use instruments including manikin, control electronics, laptop PC, and Thermetrics' exclusive ThermDAC control software.
FOOT
With the advanced thermal foot, the thermal comfort effects of footwear, insulation, and ventilation can be quantified accurately and repeatedly. The foot design, with rotating ankle joint and flexing toe allows the foot to be fitted in any shoe or boot – even ski boots or in-line skates.
The sweating system includes a removable wicking fabric skin layer, fluid reservoir, and closed loop fluid delivery system. A temperature controlled sole compression system is also available.
